If you’re too busy to make your own freeze dried yogurt, you can always buy what I think are the best on the market right now. They’re called Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts. They come in a few different flavors including Strawberry, Mixed Berry, and Peach (Mixed Berry is my favorite). They come in a 1 oz yellow bag that really doesn’t last long, lol.

Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts where the first I ever tried freeze dried yogurt, and the first time I fell in love with them. It reminded me of the once in a lifetime rare treat of freeze dried icecream that I tried when I went to the IMAX for the first time as a child. It’s funny how there’s some things you remember especially when it comes to trying a food for the first time. I was sitting in the car with my daughter, she was acting up and I tried desperately to calm her down. I don’t like to admit it, but sometimes I use food. I’ve never seen her mood change so fast. These treats are good enough to change even the meanest tempers out there.

The price of these Gerber products are about $3 or less if you can find them on sale. Or you can buy some in lot sizes of 10 packs or more which can bring down the cost per bag to as low as $1.50 each.

The packaging claims that the melts are made of 99% real yogurt and fruit. And 1/4 cup contains 30 calories and no fat, one gram of protein, but 4 grams of sugar.

So, if you haven’t tried freeze dried yogurt yet, I highly recommend you start with Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts first.

Update: If you’re interested in trying a free sample of the Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts, they’re giving away one small bag for a limited time only.
